Our baking journey began with our young children's diets needing to be free of artificial ingredients and foods they were allergic or sensitive to. Together we worked at baking products that looked and tasted great. We had a very successful bakery in downtown Lewes, Delaware from 1983-1986. We sold the bakery in order to spend more time raising our young children. Over the years, we have continued to bake for family, friends and many of our earlier patrons. Eventually, our own health needs and learning over the years a more healthy way of eating, we began baking gluten free products. It took several years of reading, research and trial an error to come up with products that we felt were as good or better than traditional baking. We now bake to order, whether traditional, gluten free or special needs, for restaurants, retail stores and the general public, in our new Board of Health approved bakery, as of April 2013. We have been received very favorably by people who have tasted our products and continue to get referrals from others who suffer from gluten intolerance as well as other food allergies and sensitivities. We take great pleasure in seeing the smiles of everyone, especially children, who's diets are so restricted, yet we can provide them with something that tastes wonderful.
